Prepare production-ready brand assets
Vector artwork is the best starting point for knit-in logos, embroidery and printed packaging. Include color references and minimum clear-space requirements, then allow the factory to recommend adjustments for knit clarity and stretch.
- Vector logo or high-resolution artwork
- Pantone or approved color references
- Preferred logo position and maximum size
- Reference photos for pattern direction
- Brand rules for packaging and typography
Choose the right branding technique
Jacquard knitting works well for repeat patterns and durable knit-in logos. Embroidery adds a raised premium detail, while digital printing supports photographic artwork and high color counts. The best option depends on the artwork, yarn, stretch and target price.
Build a complete size and label system
Confirm how the customer will understand size, material and care information. The sock, paper band, poly bag, carton and online listing should use consistent wording and size conversion.
- Size name and shoe-size conversion
- Fiber content and care instructions
- Country-of-origin wording
- Barcode or SKU position
- Pair, multipack and carton quantities
Approve the retail presentation
Request a packed sample when packaging is part of the project. Check how the sock is folded, how the artwork aligns, whether size information is visible and whether the pack is suitable for shelf, gift or e-commerce fulfillment.
