Build around a core palette
Start with two or three repeatable core colors that connect the range, then add seasonal accents. This makes mixed designs feel like one retail collection and simplifies photography and packaging.
Check yarn availability early
Exact yarn colors may require custom dyeing or higher minimums. Ask which stock shades are available and where Pantone matching is commercially important.

Approve color in the final construction
Color can appear different across cotton, polyester, lurex and printed surfaces. Approve the actual sock sample rather than relying only on a screen or yarn card.
