Start with a sharp, well-lit photo
Choose an image with clear edges, even lighting and enough resolution for background removal. Avoid screenshots, motion blur and heavy filters because small details become harder to reproduce on a stretch fabric.
- Front-facing or three-quarter subject
- Good contrast against the background
- No cropped ears, hair or key features
- Original high-resolution file
Plan the repeat pattern
Decide whether the face, logo or object will repeat in straight rows, staggered rows or a mixed pattern. Confirm the approximate printed size and spacing on both the leg and foot.
Approve a stretched sample
Review the print while the sock is both flat and worn. Check color, face recognition, seam placement and whether the repeat remains balanced across available sizes.
